Great read from one of my favorite western writers
I liked the book, wasn't thrilled at the ending, I will have to look and see if there is a sequel.
Very good stories, excellent characters methodically developed through the story and plenty of historical and scenic description. His writing has a richness and depth resulting in very enjoyable reading.
It seems this might better be listed under"pagan" instead of"Christian". Very disappointed that you don't know the difference. Christianity recognizes only Jesus Christ as Lord, not idolatry. Bags of stuff God alone created can never give power. The only reason it gets one star is you force a rating to submit.
At that point the glitches (skips, repeated lines, etc). Sure makes reading enjoyment difficult. Don't know if it's poor proof reading or software translation problems. needs to research and find a cure.
NEW REVIEW - I have changed my review from 2 star to 5 star. Seems there is a glitch in s' Cloud Reader.
If you're having a problem as was I, when you get to a glitch where there are missing words, or missing lines then do the following Go to the upper bar and click on the symbol for font changes. then set the page to single column go back to the book and it should clear the glitch. Then you can return the book to two columns and all should be well. says they're working on it.
Oh, another VERY GOOD BOOK by Cotton Smith! It seems like there should be a sequel to this one but if there is I can't find it. I w sorry to read that one of the three men traveling together died at the end. Hopefully Ring and his new wife and Saki will go on to start a horse breeding ranch. I highly recommend this book!
